The work of this contract involves a variety of tasks in different areas of the airport. These include full and partial depth pavement, AOA fence, airfield lighting, and erosion and drainage repairs. Construction will take place within the Airport’s Air Operations Area (AOA). In the East Airfield, the work encompasses Runway 17L-35R, Taxiway Z, Taxiway Z/K, Taxiway A/K/B, Taxiway Y, and Taxiway WK/E which includes Runway 36R. For Taxiway WL/G, the tasks involve PCC pavement repairs, pavement markings, and centerline taxiway lighting. Taxiway EL will undergo PCC pavement repairs, pavement markings, shoulder reconstruction, AOA fence repairs, and erosion repairs. Taxiway ES/P will have drainage repairs. At the American Airlines Hangar 5, AOA fence repairs and erosion repairs will be carried out. The Northeast Emergency Road will see AOA fence repairs and erosion repairs. For Taxiway Q, the tasks are AOA fence repair and erosion repairs. Runway 17C-35C will receive a sealcoat. Over at the West Airfield, Runway 18L-36R will undergo diamond cut grinding and saw cut grooving.
